SMDRA Business After Hours - "Where did you grow up?" was the icebreaker question at the SMDRA “Business After Hours” networking event on May 14th.  This simple question led to several fun and interesting stories being shared among the many REALTORS® and Affiliates that attended.  This was the first of what is planned to be a monthly networking event hosted by REALTOR® and Affiliate members of SMDRA.

The May event was graciously hosted by Standard Pacific Homes at their Design Studio located at 4600 S. Syracuse Street in the Tech Center.  Many thanks go to Ron Meier, Mike Davidson and their team for their hospitality and a great venue to mingle.  Several attendees commented how they appreciated the relaxed atmosphere to be able to get to know their SMDRA peers.  Everyone who attended plans on urging their fellow SMDRA members to come and bring a guest to our next “Business After Hours” event.

TRIM-A-TREE for CHARITY -
SMDRA Annual Holiday Breakfast - The 2007 Holiday Party once again showed the huge heart of the membership.  The Affiliates reprised their full pancake breakfast, complete with all the sides and some dandy Mimosas.  Everyone can be very proud of the tremendous impact we make to Interfaith Community Services which included toys for all ages, gift cards, gifts for mom and dad, and our local seniors.  In addition to these gifts, the party netted $750 in cash and gift card donations that will greatly assist Interfaith both now and into 2008.
