Community Service Award Guidelines:

• Purpose - to recognize and pay tribute to an individual and an organization that is involved within the service area of SMDRA but who is not involved in the real estate industry that meets at least one of the following criteria: 

• Currently participating in community, charitable or civic activities.
• Responsibility for a public service project that has a positive impact on the community.
• Service in a notable volunteer capacity in local, state or national government.
• Encouragement or participation in, or implementation of, community projects in published materials.
• Service in an outstanding manner as an appointed or elected official at the local, state or national level.
